Am I alowed to continue after geting the Knightfall ending?

fromy my understanding if I beat his game and get the normal non 100% completion ending I can continue to explore the open world of gotham city.

what I don't understand is two fold first

am I alowed to get the Knightfall ending after beating Jasson Todd AKA the Arkham Knight (the worst disguise ever)

AND if I do get the Knightfall ending can I continue to explore the open world or do I need to start a new save?

Yes, you can continue as if Knightfall wasn't activated.

Incomplete Knightfall can be activated after beating at least half of side missions.
The complete Knightfall will feature extra video during final cutscene.

after you finish the main story: all Batmobiles are now available.
you are now in free roam mode.(need to exit and restart the game to get the 'all Batmobiles are available' notice.)
finish 7 side missions(the side mission wheel should say it)
gives the option to activate Knightfall Protocol...this will change the dialouge you hear.
Joker no longer appears on rooftops.
finish all missions will give the epilouge ending(takes place some weeks after Knightfall)
if you have Season of Infamy DLC this will give you %120 completed.
finish New Game+ with the Season of Infamy DLC will now give you %240 completed...this unlocks the 'Gold Emblem Batsuit'(Riddler trophies carry over so you won't have to repeat them)
NOTE: if you activate the Knightfall before finishing the Mr Fries mission, it will cause the game to have permanent 'snow' effect....can not be undone.

Joker should stop appearing after last main mission where you cage him inside your mind. Also different glitches will go away like changed faces of statues, billboards etc.


BTW I like permanent snow effect, it somewhat changes scenery after playing for so many hours. I mean, its raining almost all the time except for several not very long missions.

Oh yeah....for got about those....I think the hardest one to see is the Lady of Gotham statue...
when the lightning flashes it changes to Joker....but only during the flash.

I kept one save game with snow and one with rain....the snow can be removed(mod) and it'll give a dry weather)lightning in the distance still appears.)...this only works for the snow effect because if you remove the rain it still shows the rain effect on the streets...the snow remove one already has the rain effects removed so you are just removing the additional snow.
There is also a 'heavy rain' mod....depending on what you set the number to....you can make so heavy that you can hardly see.
