A hotfix for Batman: Arkham Knight was released today and contains the following update:

Addressed an issue with combat speed. FreeFlow combat speed now increases in line with successful consecutive critical strikes.

PC Update - January 19th

Hi Everyone,

The latest patch for Batman: Arkham Knight was released today and contains the following updates:

Added support for January DLC content
Fixed issues with the benchmark map which could occur after installing the Season of Infamy: Most Wanted Expansion content
Resolved an issue on some notebook PC hardware where the screen flickers on launch. Users will require the latest Nvidia drivers and Microsoft Windows drivers installed.
Fixed some keyboard and mouse prompts functioning incorrectly after certain keys had been rebound.
Fixed an issue on the in-game store where free DLCs were shown to have a value of “.0”
Addressed an issue where rebinding keys could cause quickfire gadget attacks to work incorrectly for Batgirl, Red Hood or Harley Quinn
Miscellaneous DLC gameplay fixes and stability improvements

We'll be releasing Crime Fighter Challenge Pack #6 in a few hours in order to allow everyone some time to get the latest patch. We'll update this post when the roll out is complete.

UPDATE @ 2:40pm Pacific - Challenge Pack #6 is now live and free for all. Please restart your Steam client, and it will be downloaded automatically (if it hasn't already). Enjoy!

Hi Everyone,

The latest patch for Batman: Arkham Knight was released today and contains the following updates:

Fixed some issues with stars being awarded or lost incorrectly in specific AR Challenges
Improved target prioritization during combat
Restored heavier rain during the opening section of the game
Fixed missing rain effects on a few remaining player character skins
Miscellaneous gameplay fixes and stability improvements
Fixes to some keyboard and mouse prompts after being rebound
Made frame times more consistent for 60hz monitors running at 30fps with VSync enabled
Previously equipped gadgets can be selected with keyboard and mouse again after restarting an AR Challenge
Fixed the default key binding for Harley’s Snare gadget
Batgirl’s Remote Hacking Device can now be properly selected with keyboard & mouse in AR Challenges
Minor performance optimizations for certain combinations of hardware
Fixed keyboard & mouse controls that did not function in DLC AR Challenges when no previous save data existed
Quick Photo Mode can now be triggered with keyboard and mouse controls when using the Batmobile
Special Combo Takedowns can now be performed with Quickfire Gadget binds if they were rebound
Fixed graphical corruption that may occur after Alt-Tabbing
Improvements and corrections to some localized text
Added new Classic Harley Quinn skin for use in AR Challenges & the Harley Quinn Story Pack

Hi Everyone,

The latest patch for Batman: Arkham Knight was released today and contains the following updates:

Fixed a hitch during some game saves
Fixed a Windows 10 issue causing the game to be unresponsive on launch when the keyboard language was set to Japanese, Japanese Microsoft IME, Korean, Chinese (Traditional) or Chinese (Simplified)
Fixed minor delay when aiming a gadget when playing with a keyboard and mouse
Fixed a bug causing full screen movies to play at half the monitor’s refresh rate on some systems
Fixed players sometimes not being able to counter the Mini-Gun Brute after being spotted when playing as Nightwing or Batman
Fixed a performance drop that occurred when encountering Man-Bat for the first time
Fixed some Multi-Monitor specific bugs
Some improvements to mouse and keyboard bindings
Improved VRAM management to reduce framerate hitches
Stability improvements for rare crash issues
Fixed an issue causing certain types of lights & shadows to render incorrectly
Fixed an issue causing the game process to occasionally remain running in the background for a period of time
Fixed the Knightfall Protocol not being able to activate under certain conditions
Fixed a progression blocker that could occur in Stagg Airships when leaving the predator room after only knocking out one of the guards
Fixed damage states for Batman’s V8.03 skin in Story Mode after selecting an alternate skin for AR Challenges
Fixed missing rain effects on several Batman skins (fix for 1970s and Arkham Origins skins coming soon)
Added support for new DLC releasing on November 24th
Play as other characters in AR predator challenges

UPDATE (2:50pm Pacific): The November DLC is available for all Season Pass / Premium Edition owners. We're currently working with Valve and investigating the DLC availability for everyone else. We'll keep you posted.

PC Hotfix - November 5th

Hi Everyone,

We released a hotfix patch today that fixes the awarding of Achievements for completing the following DLC:

Street Demonz
Gangland Express
Rough Justice
Joy Ride

If you’ve already hit 33 stars for the Street Demonz, Gangland Express, and Joy Ride achievements, you will only need to complete one more race within these AR Challenges in order for the achievement to unlock. You do not need to earn 33 stars again.

If you’ve already fulfilled the requirements for Rough Justice, you’ll need to reload your 100% GCPD Lockdown save point. This will load you in near the end of the story, and all you’ll need to do is trigger the final cinematic to unlock the achievement. If you’ve already restarted the DLC and made a new save point, you’ll need to play through to the end in order to unlock it.

Please note that some players may have to restart their Steam client in order for the changes to take effect.

Update on Physical Refunds

Customers who purchased a physical copy of Batman: Arkham Knight for PC and would like to request a refund will need to return the game to the retailer where the game was purchased.

In order to receive a refund, the game must be returned by December 31, 2015, with all original packaging. Proof of purchase may also be required by some retailers.

PC Update - November 3rd

Hi Everyone,

As promised, below is a list of fixes that were made for the console version and are now available in the latest PC version:

Fixed players occasionally getting stuck on a black screen or Batman falling out of the environment when restarting an AR Challenge after aborting it
Fixed a rare save corruption issue due to infinite falling by triggering a save on a streaming border on Founder’s Island
Fixed an issue where main game save files would be overwritten after completing the “Uncontainable” AR Challenge
Fixed an issue where Stagg Airships occasionally would not appear correctly
Fixed a rare issue causing players to get stuck with a “Secure the Area” prompt onscreen
Fixed an issue where users would be stuck on a rooftop when destroying Serpent drones too quickly
Fixed teleporting followed by a rare crash when using Quickfire Freeze Blast or Batarangs on a Line Launcher wire
Fixed rare blocker caused by dying and reloading a specific save point during the Cloudburst battle
Fixed an issue where sometimes the initial tank battle at Ace Chemicals would not trigger correctly
Fixed an exploit with the drift bonus during AR Challenges
Fixed players occasionally not being able to hack Riddler devices to receive trophies in monkey cages
Fixed an issue with the 1989 Burton Batman skin where the suit would go missing at when Batman removes his belt and gadgets
Fixed a blocking issue where Riddler Robots occasionally failed to spawn on the rooftop near one of the trophies
Fixed a rare teleporting issue while in corner cover that could occasionally cause a crash
Fixed an issue that prevented the player from re-entering the Orphanage if the player collected the final Riddler secret right after completing the first mech fight
Fixed an issue where the Arkham Knight’s tank may be missing when trying to rescue Oracle, preventing progress
Fixed an issue with one of Riddler’s Riot Bombers by scanning and taking out a bomber without standing on the pressure plate
Fixed players being able to skip part of the story at Stagg Airships by using the Voice Synthesizer, and inadvertently blocking progress
Fixed rare issue preventing Riddler informants from spawning under certain conditions at 90% completion
Fixed an issue preventing users from hacking a Dragon Drone if it was destroyed too early

Announcement on Refunds

We are very sorry that many of our customers continue to be unhappy with the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight. We worked hard to get the game to live up to the standard you deserve but understand that many of you are still experiencing issues.

Until the end of 2015, we will be offering a full refund on Batman: Arkham Knight PC, regardless of how long you have played the product. You can also return the Season Pass along with the main game (but not separately). For those of you that hold onto the game, we are going to continue to address the issues that we can fix and talk to you about the issues that we cannot fix.
