KSE save game editor 337 Kotor 2 solution
Ok, So a lot of people have had problems with this, and a few have not. I found a number of solutions that, when combined, solved the problem.

1. Ensure that the game paths are plugged in. This is most easily done via KPF.exe
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Knights of the Old Republic II is default for steam
Once you have that put in, click "export to .ini

2. open kse.ini in notepad or your equivalent of notepad.

3. ensure that K2_Installed=1 is showing. Mine looks like the below
K1_Installed=1 K2_Installed=1 TJM_Installed=0

4. ensure that under [paths] the K2_path, k2_savepath, and k2_SavePathCloud are all directed toward where they should be. Steam automatically does not create a saves folder. Everything goes into the cloudsaves folder so make sure both save paths reflect that. Mine shows as below.
Steam_Path=C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Steam K1_Path=C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Steam\\steamapps\\common\\swkotor K2_Path=C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Steam\\steamapps\\common\\Knights of the Old Republic II K2_SavePath=C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Steam\\steamapps\\common\\Knights of the Old Republic II\\cloudsaves\\19363813 K2_SavePathCloud=C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Steam\\steamapps\\common\\Knights of the Old Republic II\\cloudsaves\\19363813 TJM_Path=undef

5. If you saw no need to change anything, doublecheck. As a reditor pointed out

Now here's the stupidest part. These sons of bantha's wrote the code a bit wrong. They put '/' instead of '\\' when leading to my 'cloudsaves' folder.

6. save ksi.ini
7. BEFORE opening the save editor, right click on ksi.ini and go to properties. Check the "read only" box and hit ok.
Reason for that is because the save editor will re-write the ini to be wrong after you opened it. Then you won't see your saves when you open the save editor again.

I hope this helps everyone. Below is a bunch of keywords and errors that i got while trying to fix it. All just to help bump this up in the results on google. The game is old af. the applications made to support it are old and havn't been updated in years. People still play it and every time windows or steam updates it creates more errors for more games. If you find something new and find the solutions, remember to share your fixes so the rest of us can enjoy these wonderful games!

Kotor 2 Save editor 337 not working Fixed! kse 337 save games not found fix 'updater.exe' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

Sounds like issues that need their own threads for answers. Good luck!

this appears to work but sometimes when attempting to tweak some things the app crashes when attempting to apply changes.
