The Arren Kae Character Bug Issue

So it appears that a fair number are experiencing this issue; the Arren Kae character appearing instead of the player character upon loading.

A level 12 character called 'Arren Kae' will appear with a male body type and a female character icon in place of your character. They will possess nothing other than a lightsaber and a 'KillBlaster'.
This can happen anywhere, I have noticed that if it happens on the Ebon Hawk, your party members will disappear.
This issue only appears to occur with manually saved games, autosave appears to be unaffected - so it is not entirely game breaking, just incredibly annoying.
Verifying the integrity of game cache did not fix this issue, although it did say that 1 file was going to be reaccessed (or something to that effect) which may or may not be significant. After this failing to fix the issue, I tried it again and the same message appeared, and it still did not fix the issue.
The only mod I have subscribed to currently is TSLRCM, and this has only recently (a matter of months) become an issue.

A lot of people seem to be suffering from this, and this is all the information I have gathered to try and make it easier for someone with a better knowledge of this type of thing find a solution.

Would it be worth re-installing?

It's a debug character. They really should have made it something more obvious, like name the char "D3-8U6" with a protocol droid model.

I've solved the problem. The issue happens because you still have some unpatched saved game around. Delete the old saves and you should be able to play.

Are you using steams cloud save?

I've userd both , they didn't work as long as you have unpatched saves in your directories.
