Kotor 2 Save Games Editor (KSE)

So I got the KSE "https://deadlystream.com/topic/3437-kotor-savegame-editor/" For a while its been working perfectly fine.
The last time I tried to use it I attemped to change how many FP a character has and commited changes and brought up an error.
Then reading that force points can't be change I moved on and tried to use it again then found it the editor is not making changes to my saves.
I think when tried change the FP is what cause it to stop working properly. Then I noticed when you open KSE the console that opens with had a error in it. It read...


'updater.exe' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

I looked the error and tried to fix it be my efforts we in vain.
If anyone knows what this and how to fix I would greatly appreciate it.

I see the same issue with KSE 337 that I just upgraded to from KSE 333.
Odd nobody else has this issue.

Oh, maybe there's a bug... I was trying to change a character's appearance (I installed another mod, and now my character is a droid), but it wasn't doing anything. I can't open up the save files in any readable format outside of the save editor, so I can't really check to see if my changes... actually changed. The editor seems to think it worked, but loading up the game doesn't show anything different.

Please help. I am new to modding and I have downloaded KSE from nexus but it keeps downloading as a text file so I then downloaded perl and I cant figure out how to run the exe from the notepad version. As it wont download any other way. I am stuck on Dxun moon cant find last piece from cannock mission. Im halfway through game and don't want to start over (again) don't have the save files to start moon over so I need to edit the files to complete the mission cant figure out how to run this program please any tips
