(And in case the joke goes over your head: Many feel that, myself included, that the MMO should have never been made.)

Agreed. KOTOR is the definition in of itself. This...TOR...is a disgrace and an insult to KOTOR, like anime is to Japanese culture.
Instead of wasting time with TOR, there should be a KOTOR 3. It would be amazing if KOTOR 3 had it so multiple people could play through at the same time together. That would be way better than trying to handle AI party members.
Well said.
This game was in development way before EA bought Bioware from Microsoft, they came in late and just funded and rushed the game.
You can still enjoy the game without having to look for a group (Except for Heroics and FP) and 6/8 of the Class stories are pretty well written, just don't start with either a Jedi Consular or a Trooper. I suggest you start with Jedi Knight (IMO is KOTOR 4), Sith Warrior (Is linked to the Jedi Knight and it's the Darth Vader of that Era), Imperial Agent (Gives an Insight of whats really happening to the Galaxy, best one of all), or the Sith Inquisitor (is the Palpatine of that Era)
The title uses the same lettering style, it has "The Old Republic" in the name, Malgus looks like Malak, that woman looks like Bastila (I know they're related), ToR may have been able to stand on it's own but it was never given the chance (every advertisement I saw for it looked like a mix of KotOR and the Prequels), they desinged it to appeal to fans of the KotOR series rather than let it stand on it's own and instead marketed it the people most likely to find the MMOization of the series to be foolish. Coupled with how they handled the fate of Revan the Exile, the whole thing feels more like a studied insult than an honest attempt to bring something good into the world of gaming (personal opinion but I know more than a few people agree with me).
I have heard that the game is best if played as a singleplayer game, that it is even fairly well written but I can't get past thier treatment of the previous games to even give it a try.
I doubt that it'll ever come to Steam since Origin has its grubby paws on it.
