Suggested class?
So I'm mildly OCD about what class I play in a game, I need to know what I will play as a prestige class, so that I can build every stat just-so, so that I end up with the perfect character.

Main issue is, that I can't decide what I want to play. I was hoping y'all could give me your reccommendations for the most fun class/Prestige-class combination, and a good starting build for them. Thanks!

They are all fun, a bit more information might help narrow things down.

I'd give you more information if I had it x3 I don't have a consistant playstyle that I enjoy across-games, so all I'm really looking for is what you specifically enjoy the most. Sort of like a poll, I suppose.

I like using Insanity to shut down an entire group of enemies, I like using Master Speed to nearly one shot every enemy, I like using Master Lightning and Death Field, I like the major buffing power of Force Enlightenment. Most of the stuff that I like in this game works for every class combination so I don't really have any specific tips as far as class choice goes, beyond the basic: Warrior types tend to have an easier time of it while the types using force powers tend to be late bloomers. Sorry I can't be of more help.

I tend to go to full consuler i thik its called... since you dont need to vs strong enemies in the begining, it isnt to bad starting weak and just focusing on force powers... i also do like to have my guy good in security and computers. If you have a good cumputer use skill it will make a lot of the parts in the game easier.
Consular build if you know what you're doing. If not go gaurdian/weapon master ramp up str con and dex then run around ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on everything it's a bit too easy IMO

I like to have my character fairly well rounded. What I did recently was start conuslar to get the force points up and a lot of force powers. Then for prestige I went weapons master to get my feats up. I really like it, but to each his own.

The clases in KotOR/KotOR II basically boil down to your standard fighter/mage/rogue archetypes. In KotOR II you start as a Jedi, so the choices/relevant archetypes are Guardian (fighter), Consular (mage), Sentinel (rogue). Guardians have the most combat skills, Consulars have the greatest Force ability, and Sentinels get the most non-combat skills (stealth, hacking, etc).

Jedi Guardians are best for beginners, I feel. They still get plenty of force powers, allowing them to stack buffs early on. Peragus in particular is trivialized by the Energy Resistance force power.

Sentinels are skill monkeys and get a decent amount of feats and powers, but Bao-Dur and T3-M4 are better for that purpose.

Consulars are caster-focused. I've never played one, honestly, so I can't give a good judgment of what it's like playing them.

You can also afford to build them (Guardians) in really eccentric ways. My current run of the game has my Guardian dual-wielding tweaked out Watchman Blasters and still being more powerful than anyone else in my party, even the normally overpowering lightsaber-wielding jedi. It's kinda hilarious.

The only hiccups so far have been Darth Sion and Visas Marr, because I was dumb and didn't take any of the Precise Shot feats at the time. But with them out of the way, I don't have much reason to grab them early anymore.

Jedi Guardian is best for beginners, but my most favorite build was when I went Jedi Consular, and then went with the Jedi Weapon master choice when given. I loved it, cast force lighting on everything then went in close and destroyed what was left with my dual-bladed lightsaber. Absolute blast to play this way. Beginning of game was tough though as a Consular.

Tbh I really liked playing as Consular - it seems to be the highest damaging class at the start, since certain powers (especially the lightning ones) damage the droids in Peragus the most than that ****ty torch.
Just my 2 cents =P
