Download Corrupt - Can not play KOTOR 2

Hi,
I just bought the star wars games pack and KOTOR 2 will not install. I've reset router, reset PC, deleted temp files. The download is stuck at 2.8 GB of 3.3 GB. When I try to continue download it does nothing. When I try to play I get this error:
An error occured while updating Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II (download corrupt)

I've deleted the content 3x, changed locations for download and restarted steam and re downloaded... same error.

What you could try, is change your download location in Steam - maybe there is a server error on a specific download region currently.

To do so, navigate to:

> Settings ( right-click on the Steam icon in the taskbar )
>> Downloads
>>> Download Region

Here you can select a different country / city server that you wish your download to be completed from. Your download speed may vary from location to location though, some servers do not share as much bandwith as others.

I've changed location three times and re-downloaded. Not working still.

Hmm, that's very odd then. I've just recently downloaded and am playing it the last couple of days. Downloaded just fine for me. I suppose maybe deleting the game ( as you did before ) but also manually deleting the game files in your Steam directory on your harddrive might work ( C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Knights of the Old Republic II for example, can be different on your computer naturally ) or maybe verifying the game cache instead - if that is at all possible when the game is still in "download" mode.

Otherwise I don't know what this could be caused by and probably "wait until tomorrow" is quite an unsatisfying answer, sorry.

I think I found out why this isn't working. When I checked my fortianalyzer (my firewall traffic analysis software from Fortinet) I saw that malware was being blocked from steam servers so I sent an email to the Steam people to let them know that KOTOR 2 may have malware packaged with it. Only KOTOR 2 is failing. I just bought the new wolfenstein the new order (which is pretty awesome) and downloaded it no problem.
