Mods?

Seeing you appeared in the cantina (where a cutscene should run instead, so you would be using TSLRCM) an incompatible mod seems pretty much inevitable.
I haven't heard of anything like it.

There have been rare mentions of the cutscene repeating, but being teleported to the module instead of the cutscene running...

You sure you don't have other mods, like say, Ebon Hawk Kolto Tank?
Just got this as well. Massive game breaker, especially since I am using the mod which is on the Steam Workshop
I have found a way to solve this problem, which seem to have existed for quite some time.
According to Hassat Hunter at the Deadly Stream forum; "It's an rare bug that happens if a new global doesn't properly gets added to the savegame, one that had to be incremented the first time the scene ran, so you get another the second time."

To get past this one need to activate cheats/console through editing the "swkotor2.ini" file that lies in the games main folder. After you have opened the file in a text-editor like notepad, scroll down to [Game Options] and add "EnableCheats=1" (without the quotation mark) in the bottom of that section.

Next you need to start the game and proceed to the point AFTER you have changed the transponder codes and ended up in the wrong place instead of Goto's ship. Now open the console by pressing the ~ or ` button (seems to vary, not sure). Then type in "warp 351nar".
Note: the console will be invisible, so won't be able to even check what you are typing is correct. A way to control if you actually have succeeded in opening the console is trying to move around using the keyboard.

So in summary.
1. Enable cheats/console.
2. Use the command "warp 351nar".

Hope that helps, did for me! :summersun:
I found that it happened to me if I took the droid to the junk shop and started teh conversation about changing the codes while my other two party members were off fighting. I reloaded the game and wokred my way through all the enemies before initiating the conversation and that seemed ot have solved it.
I'm getting the same error. I've run back through that part 4 times and I keep getting stuck. I'm about to try Mjoeen's fix above.
I have a problem I'm done with everything on nar shadda but I can't change my ship id without the transponder code but its been four hours since I did that quest and I am already done with goto. Do I have to backtrack 4 hours or can I find it somehow please help

This worked for me, thanks! I was freaking out. Note for anyone who tries - I hit the ` button and nothing popped up, but I just went ahead and typed in the command "warp 351nar" and hit enter and it worked - to my surprise.
