Also... Crush... that's really all. Makes boss-fights at that stage a cake-walk.
*Leveling*
When you create your Sith Lord, try for 16 in CHA and WIS and 12 in either INT or CON to maximise your Force power effectiveness later on and remeber to level WIS if you need to guarantee full effect of powers and CHA if you plan on using damage-based powers more often than debilitating ones.
*Gear*
The Circlet of Saresh is one of the best Consular items out there, but only light side and neutral characters can wear it. The next best thing is the Force Focusing Visor; grab it and give any spare ones you could find to other companions who use Force powers offensively. Zeison Sha Armor is exceptional and does not restrict power usage. If you took 12 in CON, a Pheremone Package is just at 12 CON for a prereq. and suits Consulars well. Choose Jal Shey Meditation Gloves and the matching Belt to bolster your Force power potency and some Willpower gains. The two best shields overall are the Verpine and Mandalorian Power shields, so save them for late game duelling. Choose the Quixoni and Ultima-Pearl crystals, a Telgorn Jolt Cell Mk. III, a Pure Kunda Lens and a red crystal for the best Sith lightsaber. (Pick your next best upgrades for your offhand if you choose to dual-wield lightsabers)
*Playstyle*
Use your CHA bonuses to intimidate and speech check past unnecessary battles and manipulate as many situations as possible to your favor. Sith playthroughs gain countless credits in exchange for making more enemies in the process, so work to that end by bulking up and being ready to slay anyone who gets in the way of profit or pleasure. Also, be prepared for the Jedi Master battles by knowing their weaknesses and utilizing the most appropriate Form for each duel.
I have the Prima game guide and a completed game on both sides and under all classess and genders. Message me personally if you need anymore info or help!
And 1.03 ... must have confused that with the Kotor I patchlevel ...
Anyway, I needed to come back here. I've now got a savegame with a sith lord lvl 2x who's just got the 2nd part of onderon left. I do have Force crush but I fail to see how it helps an awful lot. Sure, it gives a -3 to att and save throws. Thing is, if the save throws are a problem at all, then force crush itself fails due to the enemies saving throw. If it isn't, I can just directly grill them with Force Storm/Choke them/whatever. Anything awesome about it I'm not seeing? (And yeah, I've got a bad feeling about the final fight against Kreia, I have to say ... Probably has saving throws of ~150 and doesn't care about my force powers at all ...)
So instead of super damage you get awesome damage... still allows you to kill all final bosses without lifting a finger or moving a single step, even as non-Force classes.
So I'm pretty sure you're confusing Crush with another power.
