Terminal Audio is EXTREMELY LOUD AND ANNOYING

I started a new game and got into the section with T3M4 and the Ebon Hawk, but the typical terminal sound effect kept repeating over and over again, and was very loud.

How do I fix this problem?

There's a file called "amb_elecwire_A.wav" in your SteamApps\common\Knights of the Old Republic II\StreamSounds directory.

Rename it or delete it.

There is one other time this happens, and it's late in the Peragus sequence, but it's fixed by saving and reloading when it happens.
