Working Savegame Editor?!
I have tried the KOTOR and KOTOR2 Save Game Editor in version 3.3.5 (http://deadlystream.com/forum/files/file/503-kotor-save-game-editor/) but it looks like it does not work with the new file format. My guess it they changed the savegame file format a little bit while introducing the "save to the cloud" feature.

I get the error message "Could not read [...] savenfo.res at kse_335.pl line 1128". Did anyone of you experience the same issue or know a fix for this? Otherwise I guess I have to wait until the Savegame Editor is updated.... if it is updated at all. Hope this new patch after 10 years and adding the Workshop will revive the modding scene a bit :).

Well I may have not gotten your error message (kse kept saying it couldnt read the directory) but hopefully this could help: http://www.lucasforums.com/showpost.php?p=2820902&postcount=2
It talks about creating the saves directory in windows manually as steam doesn't do this. Also, mines finally started working once I created a "saves" folder where the exe is and copying a save from the cloud saves and editing it there and putting it back in its original place. Hopefully that might help!

My KSE just doesn't recognize Kotor2 as a game anymore. I'd rather not have to go through hexadecimal code.

Yeah sorry, I forgot to mention that I had created a "saves" directory and copied the savegames over. But I think the structure below that folder was also different in the old games. I will play around with it a little bit and see what if anything changes. Thanks for the hint!

KSE works fine - You need to point it towards to the Steam installation.

Try downloading version 3.3.5 from the location I posted above. That worked for me fine. It will ask for the location for kotor and kotor2 game directories you start it for the first time.

Thanks to Aphrodite I found out which mistake I made. I created the "saves" directory and copied a save game from the "cloudsaves" folder to the "saves" folder. But I omitted the parent directory containing only numbers. Then it works fine! Thanks everyone!

I tried your solution Aphrodite, Kotor tools now detects TSL, but KSE isn't working. It asks me for destinatio folder (even though I already set it on the reg), and when I choose it, it just crashes. Help :(

EDIT: I'm using restored content mod.
