And generally the armor (though plenty good medium armor). It really depends on your dexterity which is best, and I generally find with high dex build unarmored is best...
Then there's the obvious correlation that heavier armours have higher defence with a counter-balance of the lowered dexterity cap.
If someone receives +6 dexterity from weapons, implants, headgear, gloves etc, but their armour has a max bonus of +2, they aren't going to receive 4 of those 6 points until they put on armour with a higher dexterity cap.
In other words, ranged characters will become worse at aiming blasters while anyone will have a more limited ability to dodge. A tank typically has a low dodge chance in favour of taking low damage, but you can always go the other way and pray to the RNG gods that they roll some good dodges.
So basicly heavy armor is useless?
