Bug on Dantooine

OK so I am on Dantoinne and so far I have done the planet of Nar Shadaa and the planet of Onderon up to the point where you have to leave for the first time. So I have all party members available to me and my character is a male character.

I have talked to the Administrator about Master Vrook and talked to the head of the Khoonda Militia about there little kinrath problem. Anyways I went and did the Kinrath cave and killed the kinrath queen or whatnot pretty quick and got all of the crystals in the care and then swung back around to grab Master Vrook and kill off all of the mercenaries. But when I got there that part of the cave was empty so I just figured I had to pick up that data pad in the jed enclave sub level that says he's there so I did. I went there and did a few side missions connected to the jedi enclave while I was there and so I said alright now I'm going to try and go and get him. So I did, I went back and tried to go back to the mercenaries area and tried to find him only to find that the cave is still empty. Should I have done the Enclave first or is it bugged regardless so I need to go back to another save or what?

What does your journal read?
As soon as you read said journal (or alternatively with TSLRCM; Kaevee tells you (male PC only)) he and the mercs will spawn in the cave.

Just the one that says the administrator has been in secret contact with the jedi master and he went to investigate the conclave and never came back.

Then it seems you haven't actually picked up the journal yet to make Vrook spawn. It's in the back with Disciple, make sure to loot the corpses for it, just the 'it seems a lightsaber did it' cutscene ain't enough. The journal should pop up and afterwards a message your quest has been updated.
Or did you already do all that?

Ah yes I went into the room with Disciple and spoke with him it must have simply slipped my mind to pick up the journal in the room. Thanks. :)
