I already own this game, but lost the disc...
I have this game installed with the restored content patch and everything, but need a disc to play and can't get a no CD crack because reasons. If I were to buy it on Steam, would I have to reinstall it again along with the patch, or could I add it to my library or something and Steam would function as providing the CD license to the stupid DRM? Thanks!

You don't mind buying it again, but do mind installing it again?

It's not a huge game, unless your connection is horrible, it won't take that long for Steam to install it again.

That said, you will probably have to install it again, yes.

You can still use your saves, but yes, you would need to have Steam re-install it.

Although if the saves were from an old version of the patch, you might want to start over again just in case.

you would have to install some with this method, but not everything

1. start the install through steam.
2. at 2% pause the install.
3. open the folder were you already have it fully installed, and copy everything.
4. search for the folder, were steam wants to install it to, open it, and paste everything inside.
5. unpause the download.

voila! it should be at 80% or something installed

edit: even though my response might be too late....but this method you can use with everygame there is in steam.

If you do this, you should Verify Integrity of Game Cache through the game's Properties menu afterwards to make sure that everything is as it should be.

Thanks for the tips, guys!

Keep in mind that verifying integrity will "reset" all files to install. So your preferences will be undone, and if a mod changed a file that change will be undone as well.(If a mod added new files, verifying does not delete them.)

If you had TSLRCM verify will most probably list atleast 40 changed files and changes them back (download them)... so, probably not so good a time-savior...

Is there a complete change list for TSLRCM? I'm interested, but am more than halfway through my current playthrough, so I only want to install/start over if I deem it necessary.

Semi-complete.

Only lists additions too, not all the bugfixes done.
