2) You can cycle the party leader with the X button rather than having to go into the quick menu every time.
Using the dpad to select for all of my abilities is annoying. Would like to use RT or LT for Ability 1 and 2
So long as it's an X-input controller (ie, Xbox 360 or Xbox One), it should just work if you have it plugged in. You'll know because there'll be Xbox controller button prompts all over everything. it has to be plugged in before you launch the game as I recall, though. I don't think it works if you plug in the controller while the game is already running.
If you're on Windows XP, Vista, or 7, you'll need drivers that you can find on Microsoft's website. Just look up Xbox controller drivers. Windows 8 and 10 come with the drivers pre-installed, so both Xbox 360 and Xbone controllers are plug-and-play.
There's also a way to spoof the Xbox controllers with a Playstation controller. I wouldn't know anything about that though, so google would be your friend there.
Oh, and as for this thread... I'm over it. I got used to the controller layout. Not sure why this was bumped, to be honest.
Yes, I know. I meant I don't know why he did.
