Is a KOTOR 3 possible now?

Sadly I think that will never happen. With the new Revan novel and the creation of SWTOR, It seems as if the Kotor franchise may be over for good.

I am STILL saddened by that lame MMO they made instead of KOTOR3. KOTOR1 and KOTOR2 were such great games. Still some of the best game experiences I've had and its years later now

Does the newer SWTOR addon tie in more with KOTOR? Thought it was a massive shame it didnt seam to. Think iv played all the SWTOR I want to but might have to do some more. KOTOR was a much better (although smaller game) than SWTOR everything you do in it has such little effect on the world and there should of been much more LS/DS story changes

The Jedi Knight's storyline in SWTOR is basically KOTOR 3.

True. There will be no KOTOR 3 because SWTOR is the sequel. In some missions you find out what happened to Revan after the events of KOTOR and KOTOR 2. I liked SWTOR, it was a great MMO in my opinion and the story of Revan was fantastic. But I also would like to play another single player star wars rpg.

It doesn't even need to be KOTOR 3. A new Star Wars RPG, in any timeline, would create hype trains that could surpass the Japanese transit system and Indian bus lines combined.

I remember them specifically saying before SWTOR came out that SWTOR IS kotor 3-infinite and such.

I believe a KOTOR 3 could be made. SWTOR seems to happen much later than the events of Kotor 2, Kotor 3 could just be the inbetween, fully explaining what happened to the exile, revan, and etc. And it could be made similarily to the other Kotor games. Don't shut a good idea down guys.

Its already fully explained what happened to the exile aka Meetra Surik and Revan. Their full story is told in the book "Star Wars The Old Republic: Revan" by Drew Karpyshyn.
