I need someone with in depth knowledge on how this game works. I am a Sith Lord, and it seems when I go all dark all my companions turn lightside in their alignment screen. HOWEVER I trained them in the darkside and even have the all the prompt messages of the game to confirm it. I assume the pushing of their alignments is a side effect of the Sith Lord's corruption feature (Which I regret now taking because it just causes me anxiety because idk if my jedis are dark like I want them to be, or if I have to be a paragon of light to have murderers with me) If that makes sense? I just need to know if they are still dark jedi despite their alignment being max lightside when I am max darkside.

I've used the kotor save editor a bit with this game, and had the exact opposite problem. I hacked to give myself maximum light side alignment, and without changing anything besides my main character, all the companions started becoming dark side aligned randomly. Seems likely that it could be some kind of glitch that draws the npcs to the opposite side of the player. Having beat the original kotor 3 times, I've never actually beat this one all the way through, so I'm not really super familiar with any of the alignment pathways. Just wondered if maybe there was some kind of correlation.

You must have low influence with them then, because the Sith Lord usually makes them more like your alignment.

But influence works in 2 ways. If you have full influence and they like you, they will become more like your alignment, and you train them into dark Jedi.
If you go completely negative influence, they will get the opposite alignment of you, and you can still train them into Jedi (full negative influence works like full positive influence for this purpose)

The cause is low influence. The higher the influence you have with them, the closer their alignment is to yours.
I know for a fact I have high influence with them, I never lost influence with anyone, and quickly did everything for each force sensitive to allow them to become Jedi.
Maybe it is a bug with the KOTORRCM?
@TrumpetTurtle17 that does indeed sound quite similiar, I did use the editor to modify each character's stats a bit but never their influences as I noticed it tended to break the save editor. But we may be having the same issue ALTHOUGH I use the console commands to switch my alignment at will ingame.
