Star Wars Kotor 3 Time Period
I have to say this is one of my favorite series. I really hope they make Kotor 3. If they do ever decide to make a third game what time period would you want it to take place in. The same period as the previous games or a different time period. I think it would be cool to do the New Sith War or right after the Yuuzhan Vong war and you either decide to help rebuild the Jedi or Sith. But they would have to change Kotor though because its no longer in the old republic. What do you guys think?

I just hope they just ignore the online game completely.

I agree
Knights of the New Republic... KOTNR, doesn't really roll off the tongue.

Though that would be cool, and EU already has new sith war after Yuuzhan Vong, when Fel Empire got taken over by the Sith.

Honestly,SWTOR is a pretty good sequel on its own imho,I would love a KoTOR 3 but SWTOR isn't a bad attempt and as a MMORPG,it is pretty interesting on its own as it actually is an RPG to some degree.

I'd want a direct sequel exploring the rebuilding of the Jedi order after Meetra Surik leaves to find Revan. I think it would be cool to see the crew again, and this time as high ranking Jedi. I can see it now. Atton, the cool and relatable mentor. Brianna, the wise and passionate Jedi Historian. Mira, selfless and always helpful to her students. Mical, a prominent member of the Jedi council. Visas Marr, free from her life of servitude; she makes sure that her students learn to live with a free will. And Boa-Dur, an amiable, but quiet Jedi. Students would be amazed at his fancy lightsaber handy-work.

unfortunatly disney has declaired that the EU is not relivant to their future plans for star wars, books, comics, games and has asked that all operations in this area be closed, they have already begun to put out their own comics and plan to releaase movies or tv series to fill in the gaps to the upcoming starwars 7, or so I have heard

I love swtor personally. But be warned, what you just said may cause a flame war xD because even saying swtor is a good attempt is bound to make people say you're not a KOTOR fan.

I get told a lot for liking swtor that I'm not a fan of the original kotor otherwise I wouldn't like swtor pfft.

As for Kotor 3, I personally would like to see it, but I doubt it'd happen.

I say keep it in the KOTOR era but make it where it's 25-50 years after KOTOR II where the exile's companions are either Jedi Masters or in office rebuilding the Republic. Because there's a 300 year gap between KOTOR II and TOR only bits and peices from when the sith rebuilt their fleet.

I'm sure they will eventually delve back into the Old Republic. They just want their ♥♥♥♥♥♥ movie to not be outshined by better stories. I'm worried that they are going to make Star Wars into a kids only universe even though its called Star Wars.

If its going by Kotor Canon then Brianna won't be a Jedi. Yea it would be cool to see all you're old companions and meet Revan and Bastila's son.

I've always wanted to see the Battle of Ruusan so the aftermath of the New Sith War is a time period that would be cool to see.

The way they advertise the Knights of the Fallen Empire makes me think that they're getting ready for a sequel taking part after current SWTOR events. 1) They're trying to focus on one huge and epic story for all characters, 2) the player character has been officially renamed to the Outlander, whatever his class or allegiance is (so he/she can be referred to in future conversations), and 3) come on, don't tell me the expansion name isn't a wink.

On the other hand, this expansion could also be one last big and expensive swan song for the Old Republic saga, if the rumours about closing up all current EU projects are true.

By the way, I've only played the vanilla SWTOR before it went F2P and the story there was brilliant - what made people nag about it so much? I understand that there was a huge mess-up with Revan (though from the hints I've read his story still sounds pretty neat), but that can't be the sole reason, can it?

Yes, she does become a Jedi. Despite what happens in game, Meetra Surik meets both Mical and Brianna during her travels.
