Kotor 1 and Kotor 2, same protagonist?

I played Kotor 1 and I know that you play as a former Sith Lord by the name of Revan ( which you forgot all about until later into the game ) and you then take out your former apprentice, Malak or w/e, then you beat the game.

I was playing Kotor 2 and they're talking about Revan in the beginning a lot and I'm wondering if you're the same character you played as in Kotor 1, they also mention you being an exile of the Jedi Council and got confused because, you weren't exiled in the first one.

No, Revan in KOTOR 2 is in the outer rim fighting a threat to the Republic and you never see him in Kotor 2... later on you figure out what threat he went to fight.

I have another question, Revan was the owner of the Ebon Hawk, how did he lost possession of it? How did Kreia get ahold of it? He left HK-47 ( From Kotor 1 Tattooine ) and T3, for what reason?

Actually, that threat wasn't revealed in KotOR II. If I recall, it was one of The Old Republic's tie-in novels that explains what it was that Revan went to fight.

The conversation you have about Revan in the begining of KOTOR2 is just setting up as to how the first game ended for you and the choices you made. (In a way of import saves) but that didnt exist back then, so instead you set up what happened, you know... male/female, saved/killed republic and all that. As to how you ended up with the EbonHawk, you learn that from T3 if you gain enough influence with him "it"? anyway yea. What they never expalin is WHAT THREAT DID REVAN FIGHT!!!! I want ot know damn it! a godamn cliff hanger and they still didnt make the 3rd kotor!!!! Instead that pathetic excuse of a game the old republic trash.... If someone knows the threat revan went off fighting from commics or lore or w.e that is legit please let me know! I want to know what was so "serious" that he had to leave everyone behind to figh it!

The threat is explained in the novel Revan but if you don't feel like reading that there is a ton of youtube videos that explain it and also you could probably look it up on google.

Although it isn't so much a spoiler well... about the threat...
Revan married Shan and sank into obscurity for several years until his resurfacing memories led him to leave his wife and unborn child behind in a search for answers in the Unknown Regions, and he was held captive by the Sith for three years until a former lieutenant of his named Meetra Surik rescued him with the help of the Sith Lord Scourge. The trio's attempt to eliminate the Sith Emperor failed, and Revan was held captive by the Emperor for three hundred years until he was finally freed by Republic forces. Taking control of the Rakatan Foundry, Revan attempted to construct an army of extermination droids to destroy the Empire, but the Jedi Master vanished when he was defeated by an Imperial strike team and he was never again seen in the greater galaxy. His legacy, however, would live on; the Sith Lord Darth Rivan, who began the thousand-year-conflict known as the New Sith Wars, named himself after Revan after reading a damaged manuscript about the Sith Lord, and the Sith Lord Darth Bane discovered Revan's Sith holocron on the planet Lehon and used Revan's teachings to develop the Rule of Two philosophy.

Are you asking what was intended for Revan before the MMO came into existence?

No, I am asking what threat he went off to fight, people told me to read that book/commic I cant get it in PDF for some reason page come up blank and I sure as hell dont want to pay for it.

You could play ToR. It's free and they cover your question in that game, or look at Memnarchon's post.

I did look at his post but I would prefer to read what he wrote from that book he is talking about because he gave me some context about it. And no I dont want to waste my time with TOR because it might be free but there are way too many restrictions on the free version that it is not even worth the hassle to download it.
Edit: Unless they got rid of all that ♥♥♥♥ and it is a normal game now, I doubt it.

I think Kreia also mentions something about it near the end of KotOR 2. Tbh I was happier with the mysteries at the end of KotOR 2 than with the answers that ToR:Revan offered and I'm not the only one, it may just be better to skip it.
