Stuck In Name the Gand Warrior Quest
I'm on Nar Shadaa (my first planet after leaving Telos), trying to complete some side quests before moving the main story along. I'm playing with the TSLRCM mod, but no other mods.

Anyway, I've gotten the quest to find the Gand warrior, and my PC (Level 12 Jedi Sentinel, LS) doesn't have a high enough Awareness to complete the quest. So I added Kreia to the party (her Awareness is 15 with a bonus), equipped her with the breath mask and sent her solo into the Jekk'Jekk Tarr. I found the Gand who I'm supposed to identify, but I'm not getting the dialog option to catch him on his slip-up; whenever I talk to him (or anyone else in the Jekk'Jekk Tarr), the scene shifts back to my PC as if she's doing the talking instead of Kreia.

I haven't had any problems getting other companions to interact with doors, workbenches, etc. Have I run into a bug, or is this how the game is supposed to work? In case I'm forced to skip the quest, what reward would I be missing out on?

Not a bug, really. Most of this kind of checks are made against the player character, just level up a bit more or get some awareness boosting gear, you can build some armor upgrades at workbench for example.

U need awareness 16 to make gand talk, u may start conversation with any char, but only ur main will talk
