There are 2 compartments, one in the cargo hold (it held the spice for Lurze in Kotor 1) and one, hidden, in the port dormitory. To access the hidden compartment all you need to do is have the conversation with the guy in the central area on Nar Shaddaa and get the response about the secret compartment. It will then show up next time you are on the Hawk.
There is stuff you can use in both compartments.
>wants to store things in containers
Uhm.
Huh?
In 1 it was a useful way of tidying up your inventory of things like shortswords and datapads that had no monetary value. In 2, as I said, if you don't want it you just break it down.
Not entirely true. From my experience, pretty much all containers in the game continue to have whatever you leave in them, making them "safe" as long as you can physically access them. I've been using the TSA Detainee Lockers for sorting items I don't want to sell or break down.
Still, if you can get those 2 containers enabled on the Hawk by talking to the original owner, it beats having to travel to Telos each time you need to sort your junk.
theres no practical reason for it.
I'mma do it anyways.
and I'll complain if you won't let me.
