Ebony Hawk:Stolen quest bug?

(I have the restored content mod.) So here's the problem. I've killed Slusk, and everyone inside there. Then, when i decided to continue the main questline, the protocol droid tells me to talk to the Exchange. Thing is, EVERYONE'S DEAD! What do I do?

Ignore the droid about the Exchange, the droid conversation should tell you the Ebon Hawk is on the surface of Telos - which is where you will go when you finish working for either the Ithorians or Czerka in the main questline.

seeing as this is the closest its getting to my question can some one please inform me? i am in this same mission i am on the planet in the mines. have seen the shuttel but the hangar needs opening. further down the line i find a protocol droid that needs repair but after i repair and make it follow me it just explodes. if i am correct i need this (or a similar body) for the droid on my ship. is there a way to get this droid to survive ?

No, you do not need the HK droid. What you need to do is complete this area, open the hanger doors and take the shuttle to the polar mesa. There everything becomes clear.
