Two Weapons or double bladed
I know the "two weapon feat" covers both, but i'm wondering that since you can customoize 2 weapons if you literlaly use you know 2 weapons. Is there ever a reason to use a double bladed one over 2 single weapons in each hand? Do you get the full benifits of both the weapons you customoize in each hand?

The global bonuses like wisdom or such apply on either hand, but I think the attack bonus only applies to that weapon, not both.

A double bladed weapon will hit harder and I think also hits critical more often. On the other, you can build more bonuses with a weapon in each hand. I find that its a toss up really, depends on your play style.

Double bladed benefits from a larger strength modifier bonus (1.5x I think), but has a base critical threat of 20-20. Single blades have a base critical threat of 19-20 giving potentially more crits with 'keen' upgrades.

As mentioned before 2 blades also means more cristals etc. In short double bladed favours a higher strength, 2 blades is probably better for a dex heavy build with the finesse lightsaber feat. Your strength is garbage anyway, might as well go for the crits.

2 single blades is always better.

Only reason to go with double-bladed saber is shortage of crystals.

For me I typically start with double bladed (i.e., when you first build your lightsaber) just because it can cause more damage and you don't have many lighstabers for a while (you want to make sure the companions you turn to Jedi get their own lightsaber; again, preferally double-bladed). However, once I get closer to the end and have a lot more crystals, I prefer dual wielding just for the benefits each crystal can give. Although the combination of crystals to use are varied based on what you pick up in the game, my preferred combinations have been: Upari and Kaiburr; Upari and PC crystal; or Qixoni and Solari.

Not only crystals, mind you. The 3 other upgrades add up too, having to workbench twice as many top tier ones eats a lot of components.

Go with what you think looks cooler.

Don't forget that with two singlehanded sabers, you can always take off one to get better to-hit bonus in case you just can't hit something. Especially early on, this is a huge issue.
