Nifty Lightsaber Trick

So I'm not sure how many people know about this. But while experimenting with the power crystals I noticed that you can have both the Solari and Qixoni crystals in a single lightsaber and be able to use the lightsaber no matter which side of the force you are on. I'm currently duel wielding 2 identical lightsabers with both crystals while I am at max Light.

It's the way the item restriction rules work, each new restriction acts as an exception to the original restriction, it becomes an "or" situation rather than an "and" (you must be Light or Dark rather than Light and Dark).

Speaking of the character name special crystal: What would happen if you were to use the workbench and put it in another saber that someone else was holding? Will they get the bonuses, or will they suddenly drop it into inventory because it suddenly zapped them?

Characters drop items to inventory when they no longe rmeet the requirements. I have seen this with lightsabers and other weapons/armors as well.

It would simply unequip that lightsaber from them, being that only your main character can use it.
