Hello everyone, little question who gonna be : If we put mods on KOTOR 2, Achievement gonna be lock or not? cuz i want to make them but i also want to put reshade/hd texture, but i know Fallout lock achievement when you use mods.

The last time I played the game, I used the restoration mod (TSLRM if I remember correctly) and I was able to complete each of the missing achievements I had...which makes me think it can be done, but I don't know if it will work with all the mod. Probably if they are only HD textures unless there is a specific bug, it should work...

Kotor 2 was set so that using mods does not affect achievements when the Steam upgraded version of the game was released in 2016. Since that is the only version that actually allows achievements then, provided you are playing the Steam version of the game and have not set it to run the original version from 2005, there will be no issue.

The reason is that the Steam version was specifically intended to be used with the restored content mod and also to allow achievements. So you can have both.

One word of warning. TSLRCM will experience conflicts with some other mods, particularly mods that alter .2da files. This can occur with both mods from the Steam workshop and from elsewhere online. If in doubt, ask and someone on this forum will probably know whether a mod can be used safely alongside TSLRCM. The author of the mod should have mentioned this in the instructions for installing the mod.
