There are some utility mods for doing things the console is capable of, such as this one on gamefront (haven't tried myself): https://www.gamefront.com/games/knights-of-the-old-republic-ii/file/tsl-warp-cheat-band
There is also this one on NexusMods https://www.nexusmods.com/kotor2/mods/22
Unfortunately, you will still need to use the console at least once to get the cheat items, but after that, you can at least see what you do.
Installing the Kotor Save Editor as a mod enables you to do pretty much anything the cheat console does and a lot more. I don't think I have used the cheat console more than a handful of times in years of playing. For that matter, I up the difficulty to the highest setting once I reach Telos and forget about it. You can do the rest of the game like that with no real problem once you become familiar with what is coming and make sure your characters are all suitably equipped and levelled up.
All the cheat console really does is get your save games labelled "cheats used".
