If the former, you do not have TSLRCM running, if h latter you do.
You should get a title page that actually says "The Sith Lords Restored Content Modification" and version whatever.
If TSLRCM is not starting up either the mod has not downloaded from Steam or you have not specified the correct folder with the TLS Patcher, as applicable.
I downloaded it from the Deadly Stream site. How do I download the mod from Steam? And most importantly, what folder should I specify?
Any mods you want from Sream, just click on "workshop" above, find the mod you want and click subscribe. It should download and install. If it doesn't you will need to manually start downloads. If the mod is updated then your game should automatically update.
If you want TSLRCM and M4-78, I believe there is a mod on Steam which installs both as a single mod. This is probably the one to go for.
Unfortunately the Party Swap mod is not AFAIK, available on Steam. You can still install the Deadlystream version but will need to install it to the override folder of the Steam TSLRCM files.
As for the Party Swap Mod, I guess I'll just find that out for myself whether it works or not. Thx for your input, this really helped me!
Ok, so I have played through TSLRCM, and so far, I am enamored by the updated story dialogue and features that were not present in the final game. I'm really disappointed that the devs were rushed this quick to not finish where they left off.
However, I do know that I'm having difficulty with Party Swap, cuz I am not getting that adrenal that I was supposed to be getting. And I just tried switching the installer into the workshop folder, and all I got was the same result, so, any ideas?
Sorry I can't be more specific than that but it is several years since I installed any mods to this game. I have several non Steam mods that run without crashes and installed them this way. Maybe search this forum for previous posts on installing non Steam workshop mods?
As for the forums, I'll keep trying
Well, not for me apparently, cuz I tried reinstalling the game after deleting said files, and guess what? Apparently, according to my progress log, there are files that already "exists" with files I had deleted already, and files that I did not realize that I haven't deleted because DeadlyStream failed to let me know about one little dialogue that I was supposed to delete.
And to my profound dilemma, there are files with a field labeled "CameraID" that already exists at several EntryLists, which I can't seem to find because my PC is unable to identify where the hell they are!
And don't get me started on the Modules! O.M.G. They're like the same stuff that I had deleted already, but with extra stuff that I haven't deleted yet, and I can't seem to access the module files because my Windows 10 labels them corrupt.
And here I am, ranting on and on about how stupid I am, when I wanted to keep this message short. Basically, what I'm saying is... How the hell do I get the PartySwap to work when the PartySwap isn't working with me?
Party Swap sounds complicated. I've never come across anyone having this much trouble before. Unless you particularly want a mod only available on Steam then stick to non Steam workshop mods. Should be a bit easier.
Also, I managed to manually delete all of my saves that were found on file, including the autosave. I confess, I did not mention that I had a save where I had an encounter with Mical, and I was trying relentlessly to see if the PartySwap works. Might have been that the PartySwap was supposed to work before Dantooine, or before I even entered the Jedi Enclave ruins, but it doesn't matter now.
If it works, I have finally got what I came for. If not, well I can always rinse, wash, and repeat until I got all of it right. So, wish me luck!
Do you have cloud saves ON? I hate them as they either crash my game or mess something up. Turn them off and if you really need them, just manually take one before you exit a session.
