I think there is a mod that lets you choose whether you get Mira or Hanharr, check the kotor 2 mods at Deadlystream.
I play with TSLRCM installed and there are plenty of opportunities to get DS points, more than enough to get your character all the way to max dark side and appear on the game menu. If it didn't happen and give you the achievement then sometimes you just need to save and go to the menu or possibly quit the game and start it up again.
on moddb or one of the other sites
been going between kotor 1 and 2 mods all day
Most of what they said was true. In order to get Mira and stay darkside aligned, the key thing to do is to have a mix of light and dark actions to where you're either gray or just slightly lightside. If you do this and go to Nar Shaddaa first then you still have plenty of time to gain enough darkside points to go completely darkside. The only tricky thing is to watch your options when trying to gain influence with your companions.
To have an achievement "The Sith Lord", by the way, you shouldn't complete the game, you can just put one number in ini file
The "Cupid's rifle" achievement is mentioned towards the end of this guide.
