T3-M4 Upgrades

I was able to get T3's final repair upgrade done, but fail every time on his computer use upgrade. I have the influence to get all of the repair upgrades done and everything I've seen indicates that you need a computer use of 20 (with gear, buffs, etc) so I'm not sure what's going on.

Is it maybe that the influence level for the final repair check is lower than the computer use one? Or is the computer use requirement higher than repair/20? Thanks in advance for any insights folks can offer.

Are you failing the influence check (T3 refuses to allow you to try to do the upgrade) or failing the skill check (T3 allows you to try but you are failing to do the upgrade)?

You don't need much influence so as long as you haven't been losing influence with T3 that isn't usually a problem. I'm also not sure of the skill level requirements but thought the final upgrade requires both computer and repair of 21 (that is after you have done the 3 computer only and 3 repair only upgrades).

I am passing the influence check for him (I've always assumed T3 is a 'he' for whatever reason, hehe) and have gotten the final stat upgrade for repairs. I will successfully pass his influence check for computer use then fail on the actual check to upgrade him.

I'm guessing it's entirely possible that the 20 skill check I've seen quoted repeatedly for computer use is incorrect and, as you say, it is actually 21. I'll upgrade my computer skill some more with, either, gear or putting another point in computer skills and see if that helps.

I did T3's upgrades recently and completed them all with computer and repair both somewhere in the low 20's so I'd say you just need another point or 2 in those skills.
