G0-T0 Influence and the Fuel for Telos Quest (Possible spoilers)

I'm playing through KotOR II again, with a Light Side character, and this time around I was hoping to get both the Fuel for Telos quest and enough influence with G0-T0 to get his backstory (I think I've done the fuel quest once, but I've never gotten G0-T0's backstory in-game because I've always played an LS character). I understand the latter IS possible for a Light Side character, if you take advantage of some dialogue options on the Ebon Hawk and on Onderon. However, at least one guide said that that to get enough influence with G0-T0 to hear his backstory (with an LS character), you CAN'T accept Vogga's fuel for Citadel Station because he won't approve.

So, my question is--does anyone know if it's possible to do both the fuel quest and get enough influence with G0-T0 for the backstory? I am using the Restored Content mod (or one of them, i there's more than one).

(Sorry if this has been discussed before; I searched both here and in Google, but I couldn't find an answer to this question. Some of the results seemed to contradict each other, actually.)
