Opo Chano owes me 2.5k - When will he pay it back?

Im doing a LS playthrough and sided with the Ithorians. I loaned him the 2.5k for the credentials but now im at the point where i can leave the station and i dont know when he's gonna pay me or if i quit the station now i'll never see those credits again...
Anyone went on the same path? Can you tell me when he will repay his debt? Is it safe to leave Telos?

Once you get the Ebon Hawk back you can go where you want and Opo will have your credits the next time you're there. Telos is a decent haven especially if you locked up the black market dude and got a discount with his brother (also buys your goods for more) and has a convenient workbench in the same room.

i asked for em back and he went to give them to me and it said to keep the credits for the credentials and i didnt want to do that and went to buy droid parts instead and my credits vanished. went to ask again and the option didnt pop up. he stole my credits. they dont give an option to Actually Keep them.

I usually ask the Ithorians for the money. They will happily lend it to you. He doesn't get round to paying me back but they never ask for the money either. As long as I am not out of pocket I really don' care. You will end up with far more money than you know what to do with anyway from selling surplus stuff (I usually finish with over 100,ooo credits, over 25,000 components and still have so many items in inventory it just takes far too long to go through them all.
