Handmaiden for females
So I downloaded this mod, started a new playthrough as a light side female and got to the academy. I followed the install instructions to the T and followed the read me instructions to get her to join to the letter, be nice, answer her questions about what the force feels like and if she has any questions to seek me out. I did not speak to the Handmaiden or any of the other sisters in the academy after that and headed straight for the ship. The cutscene of her talking to Atris to follow me happened the first time I tried it, but when I boarded the ship my game crashed so I reloaded. Ever since then the cutscene will not trigger and I cannot seem to get Handmaiden no matter how many times I follow the exact steps to the letter. This is really disappointing honestly as I can't stand playing with the Disciple every time.

I'm just trying to figure out what I've done wrong because I cannot get the mod to work at all and I really don't want to play as a male character just to get Handmaiden. I don't use the Epic Armor mod mainly appareance mods and lightsaber on peragus. Is anyone else having this issue with Handmaiden not joining or did I just do something wrong when I installed it?

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Are you using TSLRCM?
Of course. I ended up uninstalling it and installed the party swapper mod instead. But now the game crashes right after T3 plays the getting exiled cutscene. I messaged the creator of it but haven't heard anything yet. Pretty much at a loss of how to get either of them to work. As it stands now I can't get past that cutscene so I'm just not going to play it anymore unless the dude messages me back.

Never had this much trouble getting mods to work. :/
H4FD4M wasn't updated for TSLRCM (hence I took it offline from Deadlystream). I was planning on updating it but since everyone was using Party Swap anyway which did it so much better this wasn't really a priority and I kind of dropped it.
Might pick it up if there's an actual demand though.
Honestly I just wanted to use the Handmadien as a female exile but I can't even get the party swap mod to work. It crashes right at the end of the getting exiled cutscene every single time. No idea why it's crashing the game and nothing I have done fixes it. Pretty pissed about the whole situation really.
I've been using Handmaiden and Female Exile - Disciple and Male Exile Romance 1.1.3 by Leilukin. it doesn't work with the Steam Workshop version of TSLRCM. You have to manually install TSLRCM to use this mod properly but its worked fine for me.

Then that must be the issue. I don't think I have the know-how to install TRCM manually. Might as well just give up.
It should work fine with the workshop version, aslong as you install it to the TSLRCM folder, not the TSL folder.
I honestly don't know very much about how to get mods to work. It took me a week to get some armor mods working for dragon's age origins. Could never get anything for skyrim to work either. Might have to find someone to guide me through the process or something. Cause if left to my own devices I have issues with them.
I'm happy to talk you through installing mods. I run a mixture of workshop and non workshop mods myself.

What mods do you have and what do you want to install?
Way too many to type out, mostly appearence mods and lightsaber on paragus. I pretty much need to just figure out how to remove steam's TRCM, get it off the mod site and get the party swapper to work. If I have to delete everything and start over I dunno if it's even worth it honestly. I just wanna get Handmaiden on a female main character, I don't care about same sex romance.
You would have to unsubscribe from TSLRCM in the workshop and download it from Deadlystream, saving it somewhere else on your hard drive. Uncompress the downloaded file and run the TSLpatcher.exe file, pointing it to the Kotor 2 folder within the steam folders on your hard drive. Install the party swapper mod the same way. You will have to start a new game after that and there is no guarantee you won't get some mod conflicts.
That's why I wish the creator of party swapper would respond to my post so I know which steam mods not to use. I ended up deleting everything and did a fresh install cause I figure I did something wrong before. I would hate to get another 4 hours in just to have it crash at the same point again. >_<
Just in case anyone comes across this like I did.
I was able to install "PartySwap https://deadlystream.com/files/file/544-partyswap/"
With the "TSLRCM (English) + M4-78EP (English)" steam workshop mod
By installing PartySwap to D:\Program Files\SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\208580\1402798020
Which is where steam put TSLRCM. (I found this by file searching on 'TSLRCM')

for those who are using regular TSLRCM you will find the folder in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\208580\485537937
Anyone have advice for getting these to play nice on Linux where it can be harder to install mods outside of Steam Workshop?
