Yes. Or you could adjust your influence with her either by A: doing evil stuff because even if they change which side of the force they are with they still will act/talk the same way. B: Edit it via KSE (not sure how you would do that but I know you can). Note that the second method would make her light but probably to a higher degree since if you have poor influence with someone they drift away, so if she doesn't like you and your dark she will be even more light than she normally would.
Most companions can be trained to be Jedi, all of them under certain conditions. For example the Disciple you just need good influence, Bao Dur has to have been with you while you did 3 good things, Atton you need to hear his backstory in which he explains his past and that a Jedi Knight has told him he was force sensitive and you offer to train him and he accepts. All of them are either light or dark based on their positioning on the bad, so like how Atton is grey at the begining and Bao Dur is light and Mandalor (who can't be trained) is dark. The side they are on only effects force power discounts and if they are dark they look like crazy zombie people just like the PC (there is a mod that disables it though)
