handmaiden instantly became dark jedi
I had just fled from Sion in Korriban and went into the cave when I decided to use KSE to bump up my stats a bit to make things slightly more interesting. However, after the cutscene where Kreia tells you that you cannot yet enter this place until you are more powerful, I noticed that the Handmaiden had just become a dark jedi from being on the light side of the spectrum. I don't know if this was because of my stat editing or whether this would have happened anyway. My current playthrough is almost completely dark side.

It’s because you can influence if your companions are light or dark (or grey). This depends on 3 things. 1 which side you are. 2 your influence, if you have good influence with them they will be more like you but if you have bed influence with them they will go towards the other side of the force. 3 your charisma. Having higher charisma increases this effect. I’m guessing that you raised it through KSE and that’s why she went to the dark side.

That explains it then. If I reduced my charisma, would the effects revert or at least reduce?

Yes. Or you could adjust your influence with her either by A: doing evil stuff because even if they change which side of the force they are with they still will act/talk the same way. B: Edit it via KSE (not sure how you would do that but I know you can). Note that the second method would make her light but probably to a higher degree since if you have poor influence with someone they drift away, so if she doesn't like you and your dark she will be even more light than she normally would.

This is completely off topic but can all characters, minus droids and hanharr, become dark jedi? I am trying to do a dark side run but I want them to be dark jedi with me and I lost my prima strategy guide so if it's not too much to ask I just need to know how to get them to a dark jedi status.

Most companions can be trained to be Jedi, all of them under certain conditions. For example the Disciple you just need good influence, Bao Dur has to have been with you while you did 3 good things, Atton you need to hear his backstory in which he explains his past and that a Jedi Knight has told him he was force sensitive and you offer to train him and he accepts. All of them are either light or dark based on their positioning on the bad, so like how Atton is grey at the begining and Bao Dur is light and Mandalor (who can't be trained) is dark. The side they are on only effects force power discounts and if they are dark they look like crazy zombie people just like the PC (there is a mod that disables it though)
