Why is siding with Czerka on Telos a "dark side" option?

I mean, it doesn't make much sense. That woman (don't remember her name) even said that the Ithorians would drive the Republic into crazy amounts of debt and that they're wasting billions of credits on practically nothing. I'm pretty sure that's a bad thing.

Quite simply she's lying. She just wants the Ithorians out of the way so she can get on with her salvage and tourism projects. If the Ithorians are getting too expensive it's because Czerka keeps screwing them over.

If the Ithorians succeed with restoring Telos the rupublic would fund the restoration of many other dead worlds. Siding with Czerka just makes them even richer while a whole bunch of dead worlds stay dead.

I was curious about this, so I looked it up. Czerka wants to turn restored Telos in to a proving ground for WMD research. And exploiting the natural mineral reserves. After this, they would abandon the planet in worse condition than the Sith left it.
