Cheats Still Not Working

I've entered cheats in KOTOR 1 and I've followed the same procedure but it's not working still. I've looked up how to do it and I've done it exactly right as far as I know. The only explanation I can think of is that I need to be farther in the game.

Just got off of Paragus and haven't even reached the next location.

Try once you hit the Citadel (station).

Cheats should work from the beginning. You are aware that the cheat console is not visible in Kotor 2? If it isn't working then most likely your keyboard mapping is off and the console isn't open (does the "w" key still move you forward?).

same... are you using any mods? the restored content mod maybe? Anyway - you can use KSE (Kotor Savegame Editor). It's in the workshop. Works like a charm.

Best method if you want to cheat.. everything, from armor, weaps, alignment, companion favor and more.

I wasn't aware that the console wasn't visible in KOTOR 2. I will try it again. And yes, all the other keys seem to be working. W is still forward.

Try to open the console, you won't see anything but if "w" moves your character the console isn't open. Likely the keystroke to open the console isn't mapped right due to a keyboard/language mismatch.

Probably easier to use KSE as said.

I think I got it to work. I was supposed to take damage at a lot of points and didn't so I guess it worked.

still not working for me ive already editted the ini file then converted my keyboard to english on a win 10 .... pressed ~ key and still moving -_-
