If you don't get this part soon, and get HK-47 rebuilt, you may not have 3 teams of HK-50's you can destroy for HK-47 to locate the droid factory and will not be able to go there as him towards the end of the game. You can still complete the game (including M4-78) but it would be a shame not to get the droid factory.
From memory there are at least 2 teams of HK-50's on Dantooine, 1 when you return to Citadel to see Grenn for the bounty or fuel quest rewards, 1 on Korriban and 1 on M4-78. That I am sure of but there may be one or two more. Still, it is getting close.
One solution is to use the save editor, KSE, to either add the doid processor to your inventory or change the necessary flag(s) so HK-47 is complete. Best to add it to your inventory. I am not sure if there is a code to cheat this item into your inventory so check the cheat guide here on Steam as another way round this.
Actually, the last thing I'd done was circle the galaxy to visit all the droid merchants, and my last save happened to have been on Dantooine, so I decided to run back to the Jedi enclave. The only 2 HK-50 encounters that I could remember the exact location clearly were one there and one coming in from the docking bay on Telos. After spending a lot of time zig-zagging around Nar Shadaa to complete the main quests there, I couldn't bear to go back there just to search for abandoned loot. But--miracle of miracles--I found one bit of HK loot that I'd missed next to the enclave that contained the processor!
So far, I've only encountered one more HK-50 group on Korriban, but I'm only partway through M4-78. Though unless there's another HK-50 group on my return trip to Onderon, I might not get HK-47's personal quest. At least I got to hear HK's definition of love. Even that was worth the extra zig-zag around the galaxy map.
a part when I return to telos, and a part entering the dantoine academy. which is all the parts. unless you like scrap one or something.
getting all the parts isnt' the issue the issue is missing HK's dialogs to trigger the quest before you run out of HK-50 drones.
The HK's should drop the parts you're missing (so if you missed those 2 you still get them here).
In vanilla vendors drop the first part you DO NOT POSSESS IN YOUR INVENTORY in their inventory. Which means, if you installed them they'll spawn again since they're gone from your inventory. This could also generate the Pacifist Package if you carried all 4 with you, of course not being the intention as that could lead to installing it duplicate times over and over.
With TSLRCM vendors randomly have one of the four parts of HK-47.
