Kotor 2 has stopped working windows 7

ive tried everything went on every single forum of kotor 2 messed with swkotor.ini didnt work tried compatibillity to windows xp service pack 3 well all of them didnt work downloaded 13 mss32.dlls didnt work.

just please i want to relive the memories please someone

OK, to avoid going over what you have done or not done have a look through this guide and check there is nothing left to try (if you need to undo changes to the ini file just verify game files through Steam library).

If there is nothing in there, has it run previously? How far does it get before it stops?

When i start it up a windowed kotor 2 comes up but its a blackscreen then 2 secounds later boom stopped working

Sorry to hear that. Unfortunately there are some occasions when it is either very difficult to get it to work or it just won't run.

It's not Windows 7, it's bound to be something else, I use Windows 7 and it only crashes about 1h 45 mins in.
