Gear for point of no return
so I'm approaching a point of no return. I find myself with a sizable amount of Credits or components and gear.

approaching Onderon. which I recall requiring several teams of players and should be equipped.

and afterwards not being as easy to craft things.

I'm also short on short lightsabers. I have 1 double bladed saber and a bunch of long sabers and I believe i got 2 short lightsabers.

I have 2 sith tremor swords and 2 echani vibroblades and the option to buy a third tremor sword.

Male LS playthru so mira and handmaiden.

around level 28.

Trying to determine how many sets of gear i should make. not entirely sure I can afford to equip everyone wiith upgraded gear.

The second visit to Onderon requires equipment for a team of 3 party members for the first part. You can remove equipment from them just before you end that part (do it before you speak to the Mandalorian after you have cleared and looted the final chamber of the tomb). The loot includes a non upgradeable short lightsaber.

That equipment is then available to the second party (the main character, Kreia and 1 other). Pause, equip and save before the combat starts. So you don't need gear for that many characters. I find that by the time my main character is at the level you mention he/she carves through just about anything with minimal assistance from party members.

I focus on giving everyone (except T3, I don't use him in combat unless the game forces me to) their own personal armour and primary weapon(s), upgraded as much as possible and break down any surplus weapons/armour for components. Then I have a pair or two of blasters and a few melee weapons and hang on to the best of the other stuff I find. I use TSLRCM and usually find more than enough good stuff to do this.

I had enough to completely upgrade two teams of 3. Went with Visas, Mandalore and Handmaiden to the sith temple. PC, Kreia and Mira to the onderon.

which leaves more or less just the 3 droids who I suppose can share equipment. I just recall Malachor 5 forcing some of thier use.

Without TSLRCM the only time you need to use one of the droids in combat after Peragus is T3 on Nar Shaddaa. With TSLRCM you need HK 47 equipped for the droid factory during the final part of the game. I also use M4-78 and have HK 47 and G0T0 as my party for that but even then you only ever need gear for a maximum of 2 droids.

did TSLRCM and have SOO much droid gear. tons of droid source rippers, do you happen to know if +2 verse droid is +2 attack or +2 damage?

OK so for the record. going into Onderon.

gear for two teams of 3
+Gear for HK-47
+Gear for Mira.
+Gear for Mandalore and Visas.
+Gear for Handmaiden.
+Gear for Kreia
+Gear for Atton. (Optional)

and yes you can remember to unequip people to share gear. but theres no prompt to REMEMBER TO UNEQUIP people.

And yes my PC was something of an unbalanced kill everything by himself character toward the end. being able to mass stasis everything with a DC well above their saves + a roll of 20. Except the very last boss.

the solo fights and what not do allow you to swap gear if you remember to unequip the old gear.

Basically T3-M4, GOTO and Bao-Dur do not require equipment going forward. which is 7 party members + the PC.

HK-47 kind of requires disruptors to manage the factory.

Gear for Atton isn't optional on Malachor if you want him to survive (if TSLRCM).

Sounds optional to me.
