What the hell am I doing wrong in the HK factory?
So this is my second run through, and I'm attempting to get the ending where the 51s are on my side and loyal to HK-47. The first run through the production line wasn't active at all, so I restarted entirely from the beginning.

This time around I ensured that I activated the line from the computer next to the pull chain, but now that I've cleared out the lower floor again I'm stuck once more. The 51s are being produced, but for some reason I can't upload 47's programming into the nearby terminal to make them loyal, meaning they attack both me and the 50s when they arrive in the final room. Apparantly there's some behavoiral mod that's supposed to be on a dead robot in the room before that isn't showing up. I also looked at other forums and the last post I can see regarding it is one by the mod creator saying he planned to move/remove said dead robot body.

Thinking that I had hit a dead end, I also decided to load the HK-50 programming into 47 for ♥♥♥♥♥ and giggles, only for it to render the entire quest uncompleteable, as there's no way to remove the programming and "assimilation is not an option".

Is the entire quest just super buggy? Or am I missing something critical?

In a corner of the room opened by the pull chain is a small floating bot. Interacting with this gives you the ability to upload HK47's behavioural programming into the HK51's.

You are using the current version of TSLRCM, 1.8.5, right? I've never had a problem or found any bugs with it.

Well that's frustratingly unclear. At least I have a save from before I went down to the lower floor, although I guess I'm gonna have to forfeit the loot I got now.

I'm using whatever version is on the Steam Workshop.

This still doesn't really address the HK 50 programming download thing. Was that really just intended to be a flat out dead end?

When you pull the chain in the upper level munitions area a door opens and a damaged repair bot appears. Go into that room and in the corner (far right iirc) there is a small floating bot. Click on it and you should get an option to acquire the HK51 upload console that you need to take over the 51's.

This is a RPG so take everything you can get even if you don't know what it does yet. None of the stuff you can take is a trap except the HK50 behavioural download.

Apparently so. I found no way out of that one but I generally take a save before using any console and got out of it that way.

The dead droid is from a rather older version of TSLRCM, it has been moved to the droid in the upper level since.

As far as downloading HK-50's programming, I thought we removed that (but it's been a while). Got a savegame from just before that option?

You can remove the HK-50 programming at the same terminal that you downloaded it from. If I remember correctly, you go back to the root menu and choose the behavior program path again. It should say remove instead of download.

I do, do you have a preference for where you want it uploaded or anything?
