KOTOR II Dantooine Jedi Academy black screen glitch

Ive just found all the Jedi so i went to Dantooine to meet up with them but this happens. I get off the Ebon Hawk choosing Atton and Kreia. ( Also ive heard glitches of people getting off the Ebon Hawk and then the black screen appears, except thats not what happened to me.)

I run to the Rebuilt Jedi Academy and head into the entrence, then the cutscene with Tobin and Nihulis starts. After that i walk forward into the Academy, then the cutscene of Kreia walking over and taking a seat starts. Then after that, the black screen appears. The odd thing is, is that the game is still running. I can hear the music and sound effects, I can run my cursor were the icons of my inventory and party and settings props are. Oh also I can see my cursor.

But, the extremely weird thing is. Is that if I click on where my Inventory thing is, the Inventory screen appears. I can change my armor, weapons, look on my map, change settings, but if I exit the screen. Black screen. I read a thing to delete a folder that only appears when the game is running, I did that no change.

If someone can help me, than please do. :)

EDIT: Okay ive been able to enter the academy. I go to the main room but if i talk to the jedi none of them talk they just turn around. Help would be VERY USEFUL.

EDIT 2: So its been about a year and a half and somehow this got popular now smh. The issue for me was too many mods loaded. It wasn't a conflict, I even checked. I don't know if the limit is still a thing so now the problem might not even happen with a lot of mods installed

Oh well the thing that solved it for me was that i had too many mods installed. I think the limit is 7 or something

there's not a limit, you must have had a mod conflict.

To be fair I believe that there used to be a limit of like 6 mods from the workshop but that was before this was posted. He could have stumbled across that in an old thread.

nope. I read someone had the same issue. someone said that there was a limit of 7 or 5. So i disabled some non-essential mods. There wasn't a conflict it was just at the time there was a limit of how many mods you would have for the game to work properly

To be fair I believe that there used to be a limit of like 6 mods from the workshop but that was before this was posted. He could have stumbled across that in an old thread.

Whatever the case may be it won't fix this new person's issue since there is no limit anymore.

The mod-limit issue was indeed fixed.
Blackscreens in the rebuild academy are generally caused by using a Kreia reskin mod that doesn't contain her animations required for said module.
