How to install the Restoration Mod with the Legacy version?

I am having the same issues that other people are having with the updated version. Character is lagging in peragus to the point of being unplayable. I want to play the restored mod but can't install using steam.

Is there a way of doing this manually?

On a side note. Seems really weird that I can't play this game with my new laptop when I could play the same game nearly 11 years ago on a much older system.

I just installed with the exe file directly into the game folder. Seems to be working.

1. Go to Deadlystream and download the mod.

2. Follow the instructions given. (run TSLpatcher.exe and point it to the main game folder).

Were you able to continue a saved game or you started a new game after installing the restoration mod?

Always start a new game after installing TSLRCM. If you load a non-TSLRCM you will likely run into issues that will mean you cannot complete your playthrough.

I have 20 hours of gameplay, just left Telos and the only bug i found is that if you lower your weapons since the beginning in the Echani place you can't leave after (but i loaded a previous save and fixed it)
Should i start a new run? :C

Once you are past Peragus it is pretty much essential to start over if you install TSLRCM. If you use an existing save with TSLRCM things like being dumped back at the Telos Academy after a cutscene and unable to leave can happen.
