add nexus mods to kotor 2 steam, is it possible

is it possible to add mods from nexus and other sites to steam kotor 1 and 2? if so can you tell me how?

Kotor 1 mods from Nexus and other sites will work with the steam game. Just download the mod somewhere on your hard drive away from the steam game folders. Mods generally come as a zipped file so you will need to get a program to unpack them, I use 7zip. After that just follow the instructions in the readme file making sure you locate the correct folder to install to.

Kotor 2 is more complicated because you can install steam workshop mods as well as mods from other sites. Basically, don't mix the two unless you know what you are doing. For workshop mods you just need to subscribe in the workshop. Non workshop mods are installed as I have described for Kotor 1 above.
