1. After Telos, head to Nar Shaddaa. Go to the docks.
2. In the flophouse, use stealth and sneak up on on the Gran and Aqualish to overhear their conversation.
3. Head to the cantina (pazaak den) and buy juma juice from the bartender.
4. Talk to the blue Twilek who is looking for dancers for Vogga. Get recruited to dance for the Hutt.
5. You'll be taken to the docks again, and dance for Vogga the Hutt. While he's asleep, go to the kath hounds watering dish and fill it with juma juice.
6. With the hounds asleep, break into Vogga's vault, and with a high security skill, UNLOCK (IE don't bash) the crates to retrieve a lightsaber component.
7. The last piece you'll require is with Visas, who you will fight when you return to the Ebon Hawk. If you fought her already, then you will have acquired the last piece from the vault.
8. After gathering all the pieces, talk to Bao Dur to assemble it. From there, I usually head to Dantooine to acquire crystals, etc for the saber.
When you have all the parts then talk to Bao Dur and you will be able to make your lightsaber. After that you will find plenty more lightsabers for the other jedi in your party.
There is no "best" way to get the parts (just plenty of opinions) so don't get hung up on that. You should visit Dantooine early on for the Crystal Cave, even if you don't complete the planet on that visit.
Otherwise just play the game - you don't even actually have to have a lightsaber to complete it.
