Regardless, KotoR will be. A KotoR film trilogy is currently in the talks right now as well as a KotoR remake. SW:TOR still goes strong too.
The Mandalorian show makes multiple references to Old Republic content such as killing the Krayt Dragon, humanising Sand People & introducing HK-47 droids.
The Old Republic timeline seems to be making its way into SW canon now, which is great.
It hasn't? There's actually talks of Disney doing a Kotor trilogy or series right now in the works.
Unless you're referring to when Disney declared all EU (which was explicitly non canon under George Lucas) as "legends". Meaning that they can and will use any material from EU they deem and declare it canon but for now are legends that may or may not be true.
In which case, Disney made the EU more canon than it was under Lucas (which again was explicitly non Canon), by saying some can be canon and be used (which they already have used Eu stuff and actually even used lots of Kotor stuff recently - krayt dragon, HK droids, force bonds, mandalorian war).
Didn't know about the movie trilogy though, though I'm a bit sceptical, considering they also wanted to make content set in the High Republic.
Oh I'm very skeptical about Kotor stuff coming from Disney. They're anything but consistent with their quality. If it's anything like the mandalorian, book of boba fett, or Obi Wan show, it will be awful.
As for the Kotor remake, hasn't been announced as cancelled yet. Just Sony took it away from aspyr because apparently they weren't impressed with their demo. Supposedly they're giving it to another studio to finish and it's delayed another year or two.
He was a Jedi who went Sith then went back to being a Jedi. As much of failure and a joke of a dead game completely abandoned by its developers SWTOR is; there is an entire storyline involving Revan confirming he is not evil anymore. The Sith Emperor captured him during his departure into Sith space following the events of KOTOR where he is later rescuing by Republic players during a dungeon or killed by Sith players. Eventually his force ghost or something splits in 2 and one half tries to destroy the Sith Emperor by also destroying the entire galaxy while the good side attempts to assist the players. The story plays like bad fanfic but according to "disney canon" we all know disney is literal garbage and should largely be ignored for at least the past 15 years...
It WAS a clever way to add detail to the world, because Obsidian/Bioware/Black Isle was generally much better about role-playing elements back in their glory days.
Thats why Fallout 3 is kinda lame and New Vegas is a masterpiece.
Well, that's it meaningless isn't realy the point. The point is, that the OP complaint, that REvan has a defined gender. And I pointed at an ingame-way to change to the gender of your liking. :)
Such little deatails is, what gets RPGs the immersion.
