Especially in terms of providing long-term support that doesn't break when we issue updates. This is why we've made a slight compromise and offered the Mission Creator instead of full tools.
Fair enough but for goodness sake will you make some authenticity/immersion checks on a few things namely
1. Ok I get most if not all guns in game are supposed to fire in bursts but this fuggly m1 carbine you start with is a freak of nature that needs to be rid of, also why can't the m1897 have 5 shells??? as it does, seeing Lee enfields with 4 shot capacity also gives me brain cancer, I mean 5 is at least one strip clip and one could argue that in hopes of reserving ammo behind enemy lines is at least feasible
2. why can't all classes use SMG's and non scoped rifles? only snipers get scoped is fair and have special abilities and bonuses that regard sniping it's mega cringe to see a Brit with an m1897 non would have ever been seen poking one with a 5 ft pole anyhow 'tis not a gentlemans weapon of war Sir!
Also, I think I've sunk like a thousand hours into Xcom 2 because I'm able to play as Venom Snake from Metal Gear solid fighting resident evil monsters backed by factions from the Mass Effect universe. Historic accuracy went out the window with this game when I got sent into battle with a 3 round shotgun and M1 with a 4 man team of privates, so it's really not an excuse.
