Patch 1.03 is now live.

This update focuses on resolving the most critical issues reported since launch and improving the overall gameplay experience.

Our goal with this patch was to remove the major progression blockers and stabilize the core experience so Emberbane can now be played from beginning to end as intended.

Ophelia’s slide ability has been improved based on community feedback.

• Increased slide speed and distance

• Reduced duration

• More responsive control

• Dodge timing now requires more precise timing

• Fixed several major bugs and progression blockers

• Resolved a progression blocker at the top of Khan’s Rest that prevented access to Act 3.

• Players should now be able to progress through Act 3 and reach to the end boss without blockers

• Many region-specific bugs reported by the community have been resolved

• Fixed multiple side quest issues

• Various cinematic improvements

• Adjusted balance for several enemies and bosses

• Added improvements to help players track progression more clearly

• Some improvements were made to the current map system.

We are also working on a larger navigation update that will improve map clarity and tracking.

This update resolves a large number of issues reported after launch and significantly improves the stability of the game.

Our next focus will be continuing to refine the experience based on your feedback.

A larger update is planned for the end of the month, focusing on further gameplay improvements, polish, and navigation clarity.

With the end-of-March update, our goal is to bring Emberbane to the point where it can be played from beginning to end as intended.

Until then, we will continue releasing smaller hotfixes when needed.

Thank you for your continued feedback. Patch 1.02 focuses on stability, progression blockers, and combat adjustments.

• D-Pad movement support.
  Originally assigned to element switching, it is now available for movement following community requests.

• Resolved a significant number of reported critical bugs, especially those affecting progression.

• Fixed reported boss-related issues.

• Continued addressing bugs reported during the patch preparation period.

• Adjusted enemy balance across multiple encounters.

• Additional Ophelia and enemy balance adjustments are already in progress.

• Map improvements and clarity adjustments.

• Ongoing large-scale map rework in development.

• UI polish and general gameplay refinements.

• The game has passed verification process of Steam Deck; however, further adjustments are needed for UI button prompts and text scaling to ensure a fully optimized experience.
  Work on these improvements has already begun.

Our next update will focus primarily on navigation and wayfinding improvements, addressing the most frequently mentioned concerns.

We are carefully reviewing all feedback and bug reports and acting on them. Our goal is to stabilize and refine Emberbane quickly so it reaches the level of quality you expect.
