Save Files?

I play on multiple computers, and for some reason Steam won't sync my cloud data. I checked all the spots games usually save data in (my games, saved games, steamapps/common, etc.) but I can't find my files to save my life. Anyone know where they are?

Your save files are clouded with UPLAY, not Steam.

You can also check Users/your name/Saved Games to see if you have any saved games in that folder.

Nope, nothing there. I found the Uplay folder, but everything in it has absurd names like "88de0a8a-98c0-4d16-aebe-22df35141c8b". It's almost like they don't WANT people mucking around with the files.

I manually synced the entire folder and it worked! Thanks for the help.

What do you mean by "manually synced the entire folder"? Please elaborate. I think I may have just lost hours of game saves for absolutely no reason.

You shouldn't have lost "hours" at all. Uplay automatically saves at certain points.

I meant I copied the entire "savegames" folder from one computer to another. The folder is in C:/Program Files (x86)/Ubisoft/Ubisoft Game Launcher. Copy the "savegames" folder and put it in the exact same place on your other computer and launch AC3. Whatever file you had on the first computer should now be playable on the second.

For the record, I think the "88de0a8a-98c0-4d16-aebe-22df35141c8b" folder is for AC3.

Exactly my point. But I did. And it did happen.

For me the saves are located here: C:\Users\TSVStriFe\Documents\Assassin's Creed III\SAVES, even so the folder is empty, cause of the cloud saves of Uplay.

have the folder synced to dropbox if you play on multiple computers, personally, everything syncs for me except AC3, which is great cause thats that one assassin's creed game I rarely will play (though now im playing it to lvl up my profile)
