Often times he'd start a sentence in Italian, but then the rest is in English. I always perceived that he is always speaking in Italian yet since we are using the Animus to see and experience what our ancestors did, we automatically translate it to what we can understand.
Why they didn't do the same thing for this game is beyond me. I'm not a fan of the language, and I also really don't like using Subtitles. I feel it detracts from the immersion of the experience. And it's not like I can just ignore the Native American dialogue, it's heavily story relevant.
Also completely off topic, anyone figure out how to use a parachute irl in game? I was jumping around inside the cave structure and it just poped out and can't figure out how to use it again.. or if it was just a one time use, which would be rather annoying..
