Is there a Hack that let's me play without Uplay?

This is seriously going to be the last Ubisoft game I buy, if I constantly have to deal with this ridiculous system. I bought the game on Steam, I want to play using Steam, and Steam alone. I want my achievements to be saved in Steam. I don't want to see Uplay's ugly interface one more time.

It's bad enough that I have to use Origin for any new EA games, but this really takes the cake. At least, Origin looks nicer, and works--most of the time.

So...enough of that. Is there any way at all, I can skip Uplay, and go straight to my game?

I agree, I was really happy when I heard UPlay wasn't going to be required to run AC3 then I load it up after work today just to discover to my dread Uplay stareing at me. boo ubisoft. no one likes your interface stop forcing us to use it. If I ad wanted to use it i would have bought it from you, not Steam.

I completely agree. And so does everyone else who buys Ubi products. I wish they'd listen to the community and scrap this ♥♥♥♥. I've been waiting for steam to install uplayinstaller.exe for more than an hour now. This will be the last ubisoft product i buy for sure. I'm so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sick of not being able to play games i payed good money for because of something i don't even want anyways.

Little known fact. EA owns about 25% of UbiSoft stock.

It does suck to have to resort to using 6 different programs to just play one game. Wouldn't it be awesome if we had one universal media manager?
